The Good…
Washington Redskins (3-1) With a quarterback battle between John Beck and Rex Grossman could anything have been expected from this team?
Buffalo Bills (4-1) The Bills showed a glimmer of hope last year but they weren’t expected to be at the top of the division anytime this season.
San Francisco 49ers (4-1) The only opinion prior to the start of the season anyone offered on this team was that they were going nowhere with Alex Smith as their quarterback.
Detroit Lions (5-0) Prognosticators predicted them to make a run for the playoffs but not to battle Green Bay for the division title.
…And the Bad
Philadelphia Eagles (1-4) No one picked the ‘Dream Team’ to have only 1 win at this point.
Atlanta Falcons (2-3) There were big expectations after a coming out year last season.
N Y Jets (2-3) Sexy Rexy’s team was hoping to take the next step after 2 consecutive AFC championship game appearances.
St. Louis Rams (0-4) They were a much-improved team last year with a potentially great quarterback but have taken a step or two backwards.
