These Are the Things I’ve Learned

A few observations from recent happenings in the sports world
Unless the NFL starts letting teams count only their best performances and toss out the rest, the Giants aren’t going to get close to defending their Super Bowl championship.
The Toronto Blue Jays have a shit load of money.
I miss the Manitoba Moose and the AHL.
Jay Cutler’s not as good as the brain trust in Chicago thought he was.
Rex Ryan didn’t want Tim Tebow.
Dallas would have a better running game with Adrian Peterson carrying Tony Romo on his back.
Rex Ryan told you he wanted Tim Tebow, while showing you he didn’t.
Calvin Johnson catches more balls for more yards than he possibly should when you consider that he’s the Lions’ only receiver worth throwing to.
Jay Cutler is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.
I, like a whole lot of other people, don’t miss the NHL very much.
I really, really miss the Manitoba Moose and the AHL.
Like many other people already have, I will soon forget the NHL.
The New York Jets need to change their logo to a circus tent.
The Oakland Raiders logo should be the smoldering remains of a train wreck or the ghostly silhouette of Al Davis.
There used to be a major professional hockey league in North America.
Peyton Manning does not throw a football with his neck.
